The Wiebe Pelting Knife has a small pointed blade that makes it ideal for skinning smaller critters like mink and muskrats and for doing opening cuts on coyotes, fox, bobcats, etc.
The Wiebe Pelting Knife is made from 3CR13 stainless steel, and is HRC52 to HRC55 in hardness. This steel is hard enough to hold a good edge yet can be sharpened with standard sharpening tools.
