Collarum Live Capture Canine Device (Fox Model)
The Collarum Live Capture Canine Device (Fox Model) throws a secure, non-choking cable loop over a canine's head and around the neck making capture fast, easy and effective. Triggering requires a "bite & pull" action, which makes the Collarum canine specific. It won't be set off by other wildlife. The Collarum fox model has arms which are 1" shorter than the coyote model to accommodate the smaller size of the fox and utilizes a 9" loop for animals up to 20 lbs. or with a smaller head. The cable diameter used for the fox model is 5/32" with an appropriately sized Shurlock and has a lighter duty spring combination because of the reduced cable loop. The fox model requires less space for setting versus the coyote model. The Collarum has been used extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Spain & Australia for the capture of canines. The military has used them on bases in Iraq & Afghanistan for the capture of feral dogs.
