K9 Advantix by Bayer is a once-a-month topical flea, tick, and mosquito treatment for dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older. It contains imidacloprid and permethrin. It is available in 4 dosage sizes: 10 lbs. and under, 11-20 lbs., 21-55 lbs. and dogs weighing over 55 pounds.
K9 Advantix provides triple protection against biting fleas, ticks and mosquitos. Nothing else offers this kind of triple protection against biting. K9 Advantix contains imidacloprid, which stops fleas from biting in less than 5 minutes and starts killing within an hour. K9 Advantix repels and kills ticks. If a tick is repelled, it doesn't attach. If it doesn't attach, it can't transmit organisms that cause disease. K9 Advantix also repels and kills mosquitoes before they can bite.
