Oscar Cronk's Deer Hunting Scents
There's a lot of history and a few Maine legends behind Cronk's Famous Deer Lures. Oscar Cronk became the successor to the legendary Mountain Man, Walter Arnold's scents and lures business in 1962. Walter's father, Lon, started the business in 1870. He was a market hunter back when it was legal in Maine. Walter fell heir to the business in 1917......and, Oscar Cronk became the successor in 1962. Oscar Cronk -- "the last of the breed".
